Cargo access door

I have been searching but cannot find where to buy it, I have tried the GM parts websites along with ebay and TYF search. Maybe I am searching under the wrong part number, I am trying to find another access door for the cargo compartment. The P/N on the door is 15838408 but that doesn't seem to pull anything up.

Hmm I'm not exactly sure what cargo access door you are referring to. Are you talking about the lift gate? Or you talking about the 3rd row driver side cup holder/jack compartment cover?
Saw 65+ views without response so maybe some clarification is needed

Its the small plastic access door to the compartment where you might store jumper cables.

What year and model is your rig? Have you tried any local salvage yards?

I have not tried a salvage yard, I will try and see if I can get to one. Its a 09 Yukon XL 2500.

oh that, wish the 07's had that little compartment, i've had to bag my jumper cables, bungees, tools, etc and lay it on top of the jack

I can't find the option. Very interesting that some have it and others don't. I wonder if it's an equipment group option or something else.

I wonder if its only on the long wheel base cars (I have the short escalade) or maybe only on those without the power liftgate.

My 2010 Tahoe has it... Odd that some would and some wouldn't. Mine is just an LT too...

I read a few other sites that indicate XL models have it as do regular models without a power lift gate. Trucks with a power gate do Not. Does that fit with what you guys/gals are seeing?

No power liftgate for me... so that could be it.

I have the power lift gate and do not have the storage/cargo door, and I believe that is the location of the power lift gate motor, so that makes perfect sense

Mystery solved...Tahoe/Yukon/escalade without power gate have the storage compartment. Also all long wheelbase have it regardless of power/manual gate.
