Cannot reset fuel filter life

Heya,

I changed the fuel filter in my 2023 Yukon, all's well. But when I go to the info screen to reset the fuel filter life it doesn't reset it. I already reset the oil life and that instantly changed the life to 100%, but for some reason the fuel filter life just stays the same.

I did get a notice for an OTA update, will do that later today, but not sure that it's related?

Where is fuel filter life? All I see is air filter after oil life.

Diesels have fuel filter life.

In my 2500HD duramax, resetting the fuel filter life only goes back to 100% after turning the truck off and restarting. It's not immediate like the oil life percentage.

OK, I’ll give that a try. I have selected to reset it, saw it didn’t reset, then continued driving. If I understand correctly, you’re suggesting to reset, immediately turn the truck off then back on without driving anywhere?

Diesel fuel filter life must be reset with the ignition on but the engine off. To do this, press and hold the start stop button with your foot off the brake for 5 seconds. Once the dash lights all come on, scroll through the DIC to fuel filter life and select reset.
