The paint on my truck was already bad when we picked it up and the AZ sun is just kicking it's ass. I'm wondering if this paint job can be saved or if it's time for to repaint it

I'd say repaint as well. The sun here in CO is brutal as well. The tops of my passenger doors is failing fast. I'd say the PO had an accident and had a craptastic paint job done. I can see the line where they taped off and started working, and it has all but disappeared on the tops of both doors. I need to take it in and have a quote done.

repaint is about your only option. people may tell you that it could be wet sanded and re-cleared. but even if you got lucky enough that when u sanded it u don't burn into the primer, after u put the new clear on it the area exposed to the sun will still be a different color.
