When i had these in my Denali, i had them both hooked up together. Worked fine, but what was great is i replace the CD changer and put another head unit (DVD player) in place of it. You can connect it to the ISMGM575 while retaining your head unit and not cutting any wires. Just switch it to AUX on your factory head unit and it will work. I could watch while driving also.

Uncompressed it measures 63" from side to side. Ends compress down to 2" to snap in. Please measure you vehicle if you're not sure. This will not fit larger body 66" SUBURBANS, TAHOE XLs, GMC YUKON XLs, DENALI XLs & ESCALADES ESVs. Should fit 2000-2006 SUVs. $100
