Break-In Procedure on Differential Rebuild

Having our differential rebuilt, all new guts replacing G80 locker, gears, etc.
If required, what is the break-in procedure?

I think the general consensus on that is about 500 miles, then drain and refill.

Technically yes. But I don't know of anyone that has ever paid any attention to it.
