Looks good. why do the 3/4 ton calipers look smaller then the 1/2 ton ones??
and do you 3/4ton or 1/2ton pads with the 3/4ton calipers?

You do 1/2 ton pads with the 3/4 ton calipers. The 3/4 pads are too big and rub the rotor/hub area. They may be smaller, the piston is bigger though.

Don't the 2wd Limited had the bigger calipers from the factory? Same as the police package and the higher GVW 3/4 tons?

Looks like they might've given you the calipers from the light duty or 7200 GVW 3/4 ton instead.

7200 GVW = same as the 1/2 ton stuff

From what I understand the 2wd guys don't have issues with the pads hitting the hat section of the rotor, but the 4wd trucks have to go about it a different way.

too much confusing. someone needs to make a nice write up and do everything from scratch. Too many people hear one thing and dont fit the next persons ride.. we need to figure this out!... IMO

It sucks but at least you're not out too much money, reman calipers are cheap enough.

It would just get buried in the *********** how-to section by someone asking how to change their oil.

2wd front
Get parts for a 2wd Limited (like Monster_e87 had originally) or Police package Tahoe

4wd front
3/4 ton GVW 8600 calipers and use half ton pads (what I did) or grind down the 3/4 ton brake pad backing plate so it doesn't hit the hat of the rotor. IIRC 99Yuk did this

The rear is either 10" or 11", use a tape measure. Just my opinion but get the stuff locally and save the blingy shit for trailer queens. :)
