Brake Light Bulb Issue

Changed my old bulb to new 3057... Now they don't light up for the brakes or turn signal.. Originals had the glass base but shouldn't they all be the same?? Thanks

should be 1157 bulb nowadays

really i thought i just replaced mine with 3057 an they worked however they came with my aftermarket tails sooo maybe ur right ? i coulda swore it was a 3057 unless my info is wrong they were a plastic an metal prong base
