I need to set up my 2013 LTZ for trailering. I do NOT have the factory brake controller.
Any suggestions on where to mount this, so it doesn't bang my knee ?

+1 on the P3. I’ve used them in a bunch of vehicles. You can mount them just about anywhere.

I've been using the P2 since about 2007 in my 2001 Yukon SLT. I recently bought another quick mount and pigtail harness for it and installed it into the 2012 Denali. I thought about buying the newer P3 for the Denali, but the amount we use it I don't mind swapping it between the two vehicles.

Funny you should mention that. My neighbor and I co-shared a smaller camper for a number of years and share the P3 since neither one of us would need it at the same time. He got the extra bracket for his Pilot and we wired it up to be used in either vehicle.

Hi, what did you end up doing? I'd LOVE to get the Tekonsha P3 for my 2013 LT, but can't seem to find the wiring adapter. Years before and after 2013, so I'm afraid it might have to be some other brand...

Thanks, yes - I DID see that one, but I can't find any sign of a wiring bundle. Also, to add to the overall problem, I can't figure out how to get off the wiring junction cover because it's not coming easily and I don't want to break something by yanking on it. Sigh...

Looks like that year might take a special pigtail that plugs directly into the underdash junction box. The 2013 video kind of shows how to remove the cover.
