Blu Ray Issue

Our new to us 17 Yukon XL Denali plays DVDs without issue however when we change to a Blu Ray the player freezes, stumbles and sometimes wont play. Has anyone else had this issue? Not sure if it needs a software update and if so if I have to pay the dealership for that? Everything else seems to work fine.

I tried a regular DVD in ours once. Never even thought about trying a Blu Ray!
