hahaha----I remember riding around on sport bikes 25 years ago with Kerker slip-ons...then driving cars with LOUD Borla exhaust and other things that probably tore my eardrums up. lol

I don't want it super loud anymore; just a nice tone that complements the truck.

Here's a YouTube of a brother with a Silverado 5.3L who is running Black Widow and (I presume) is not running a resonator. Sounds damn good.

BW & Carven both sound good.
if i ever changed mine out for something thinner, i'd prolly chose 1 of these 2

That 2016 sounds great and both mufflers produce a good tone.

All I know is that I'm getting a sawzall and cutting my damn resonator off....and will decide on muffler after a while.

I may just do this as well. Was eyeballing the SLP Resonator Delete kit with those nice dual tips, to give it a nice look after that coffee can gets cut off.

YUP....and Black Widow will rule the roost. I just know it.

Suggest deleting the resonator with the 300.

Thought I'd post this up for more consideration of the BW Race Venom.
2003 Silverado z71 4.8, 3 inch single exhaust from factory y to 3.5 tip, 3 inch black widow race venom muffler

Sounds good.
