Hello Everyone,

New to this forum and new owner of 2011 Tahoe LT.

Car Color: Black
I really hate the stock rims and looking to change it to nice black rims.
One thing I don't want to change is the height of the car (because of clearance issues in my garage). Now the car clear the garage ceiling by about 2 inches left.

Any recommendations?
I think the current rims on it are 17s.

Thanks!

Post pics!

Tons of pics of black on black so just look around. What size garage door do you have?

Wow i forgot to measure the garage opener rail! the max I can fit in there is 75" now that I notice the garage opener.

I read around that the tahoe height is 76.9" is that with regular 17" rims or others?

Lower it a little bit and you no longer have to worry about it :deal:

I am not sure I have seen a 6' garage door. I thought my 7' doors were retarded.

would it effect the ride quality? also any brand/kit recommendation?

nope...I have 2/4 with belltech shocks all the way around and it rides better than stock IMO. Hit up Norcal SS. He's a vendor on here who specializes in suspension and can get you all fixed up.

2/4 indicates 2" drop in the front and 4" in the rear. I had just a 2" rear drop before that and it road well also.

Could always go the cheaper route and paint the stock rims black. Did that on mine, but I have the stock 20's.

Here is mine on 26's with 2/3 drop not much rubbing anymore after some cutting of fender wells. Also seeing some of the other black tahoes I am really needing to get some new rims.
