Black out the Mesh grill peice or no?

My buddy just got two of these shipped to his house from an ebay seller, and only paid for one :) It looks pretty ****** in my phone pic but the clarity is much better in person. You can actually see that diamonds in the mesh. My question is, Is there to much chrome? I was thinking of blacking out the mesh and the chevy emblem.. Any ideas?

I edited it to see what it would look like, tell me what you think

i say keep the grill as is with chrome and try to paint the bowtie to match the color of your truck

I'm not a big fan of chrome but it looks better than the blacked out. I say stick with the chrome, looks good on that truck

IMO it would look good black if the grille was black. Otherwise, chrome is the way to go.
