So i am wanting to get a tune for my hoe i just got it back to running stage again lol. But i put a 383 stroker in it instead of the 350. so it says on their website that.

"Please Note: It is very common for there to be issues with various sensors and/or vehicle configuration that an owner is unaware of. Those issues can negatively impact vehicle power output and results with the traditional tune.
"

What do they mean by that and should i be worried about that side note?

Anything will help. I have been out of the tahoe world for a long time now and i am trying to get back into it. So if anyone can help that would be great thanks guys!

Basically, if you go with the scan cable tune, mechanical issues are able to be seen. The traditional tune assumes that all things are in proper working order.

To really dial in the tune, with that engine, you may consider the scan cable. Plus the fact that you save having to find someone to do the crank relearn for you.

I just called the shop that installed it and they said they can do a crank relearn. they just don't want to do it till the 500 are up.

and who do i talk to about ordering a tune with you guys with the core charge?

unknown at this time.
500 miles on the engine? nonsense. get the relearn done now. the is no difference of a sensor with 0 or 100,000 miles on it. and your crank reluctor will not go sliding off the crank either.
