We usually don't post time slots until ~2 weeks prior to the meet, as that is when Justin purchases his flights.

What would be a purpose for a spare?

Folks purchase them for swap out with their stockers when going in for warranty work. Another time, is when they wish to have a tune update for modifications, it is easier to swap back to stock and send the tuned computer back, and not have to worry about the crank relearn.
