Black and red...

I'm out here in California on vacation...saw Ryan Sheckler today and his Range Rover was SICK. Everywhere that wasn't black, he had it painted Ferrari red.

So that got me thinking...what do guys think of me painting my truck that red color everywhere I have chrome? Personally I think I'd like the look.

Haha that would be so retardedly ugly on your Tahoe it would not be funny. Remember a Range over and a Tahoe are far from the same.
With all the chrome trim you have two options:
1. Leave them as is.
2. Paint them black to match, or get ride of them.

Don't be so quick... It COULD look awesome, if done right.

I've seen this treatment on an Escalade when I was out in Vegas. It was striking. I think painting ALL of the chrome red could be brutal, but if done "correctly," it looks amazing.

I think it would look good if there was just a touch of red like the Escalade in KM's post above and the rest of the chrome was at least a black chrome.

The red would look good if its on a couple of things.I would photoshop it before you do anything to figure out what would look good. A guy on another forum Im on did a lime green on his Lightning.

Exactly what I was saying ,the Esky only has red on the wheels and chrome side moldings and it looks good.
That Scheckler Range Rover above looks so whack it is not funny, and to think that he has aftermarket wheels, and you stockers Zach, yours will look completely nasty.
I would say you get aftermarket wheels or something first, then trim and stuff can come later.

Yep, I agree... the Rover looks GAY. I don't even like that Escalade with red trim, really. That color combo just looks kinda ghetto to me.

Yeah.... NO WAY.... that range is beyond fugly... Thats what happens when you have to much money and nothing to do with it. Mess things up... But that caddy, now thats nice and subtle looking. Kind of like the look..

No. Green would make it a Monster (energy drink) truck and yellow would make it a bumblebee truck.

I think I just liked the Rover. But my cousins live next to him and now that I've seen it a lot I'm not really liking it. But this thread can be closed now.

Like most will say, it would look great if done well and if its very subtle touches. Even if you don't end up doing that at least black it out, chrome = Yuck!
