    13 tahoe z71. Running duratrac 285 65 18 on factory z71wheels.

Zone 2” leveling kit. It goes under the shock absorber. Rear is at stock heght.

No rubbing in the front and only rubs in the rear at sharp angles

    Two questions:

    1. What position do i set thr front bilsteins to if i keep the shock spacer leveling kit? I am assuming the 0 / factory ride height as the spacers will do the levelng

    2. With the bilsteins, is it advised to switch to a top mounted strut spacer or can i simply continue to run the lower shock spacer?

    Thanks

You can keep lower spacer and run at stock setting

I got them installed yesterday. Ended up keeping them at factory height and using my existing zone off road 2” leveling block under the shocks in place.

The ride is a 100% improvement over stock. Combined with thr new duratrac d rated tires I’m very pleased.

For the record I went through two sets of BFG AT KO in 50k. The first set has 3/32 at 27000 miles and the second set (KO2) was at 4/32 at 23000. Rotations every 4000 miles and alignments every 10k. Discount tire warranties both sets..the second they were more reluctant but I had a mountain of paperwork for alignments and rotations. A total shit tire that looked great but damn near suicide in the rain.

Quite impressed with thr duratrac so far.

I almost went with the BFG's because I used them before on my old K5 Blazer years ago. They were great back then but I guess things change. Running a set of Falken Wild Peaks AT3 now and so far they are great in the rain and dry roads. Haven't off-roaded them yet though.

Neither did our family. I have KO2s and they are plain awesome in the rain. Not just any rain, I'm talking about torrential downpours with the road covered in standing water and visibility down to a few hundred yards, the truck doesn't budge an inch going through that stuff.

There were a lot of hydroplane complaints with the old KO. It is fixed with the KO2.
