Does anyone know where I can buy a Big 3 upgrade kit? I need to change out some wires on my hoe and it would be a good time to go a head and get the kit. I know there was a guy on the GMT400 forum that sold them but it seems like he has fall'n off the board.

I know how to do the big 3, it's just getting good ends. I been looking for a good crimper to make the ends but I haven't come across anything yet so I fuigerd I would ask and see if anyone knew if anyone was selling a kit.

don't crimp the ends solder them, you don't even need a soldering gun just slide the loop over the exposed wire and put some solder wire in it and heat it up with a hand torch.

I picked up some 4 gauge wire terminals from Napa and put a plenty amount of wire into em and squeezed em hard with a big slip joint pliers. No problems so far but soldering isn't a bad idea. Wrap em up good and tight with electrical tape or heatshrink if they make some big enough

I guess if I was gonna crimp I'd probably just whack it with a hammer once or twice, that should make it snug LOL

Get some vice grips and clamp it hard. Everything is tight, doesn't move and the came with a plastic coller to cover the ends. I had no shrink tube so I taped up the ends really well so the coller doesn't slide off. Maybe not the cleanest way to do it, but it's tight and should function well. I've yet to get the chance to install them. I've only made them up. I have 0ga wire. Might be overkill because I'm not running a lot of electronics.

okay if your doing a big 3 upgrade i recomend getting 1/0 guage welding wire its flexible and way more heat resistant then all the other stuff because one of your grounding wires your replacing is right next the the engine block

Ebay sells them. Just be careful to get a good brand. Most (well maybe not most) of the wire around are not accurate gauge (size). Don't buy the cheapest out there. You get what You pay for. Just search big 3 kit.
