How the hell do you take them off? I found a good candidate for a donor at a local junk yard and they just cut through the hinge.

This pins come out, but may god have mercy on your soul if you attempt that job... It's just a real pain in the ass, but it can be done. Maybe somebody else on here who has done this before can chime in.

I'm about to replace the pins and bushings on my Kon. In order to replace the doors you have to knock the pins out or cut through the welds on the cover over the hinge bolts on the body. GM welded a piece of metal over the hinge bolts. I've dropped atleast 4 screws in between trying to replace tail light bulbs and tail light assemblies.

I would also love to see some pics on how to get the pins out of the hinges. i have a set of barn doors already and i need to get the pins out of the old doors on the Tahoe and the new set of doors i have.

My drivers side barn door is just as bad or maybe a little worse than "geo3xk" door pic.

Does anyone know why it seems that it is mainly the drivers side barn door that is always rotting apart????

Im assuming bad drainage / bad window seals. I can almost reach my arm in up to my elbow. Its a bad angle the pic was taken at. I wish the bone yard wouldnt have cut thru the hinges.

I'll get you some pics soon, its been hectic at work. It does help to have a door pin removal tool and a big hammer. Mine isn't rotting out, just sticking and it's the DS door too.
