Nice. I had one of these tailgate strips on for a bit , looked good but I didnt have led tails so it didn't really match. Now I have led tails I ordered another one(actually 2 styles to try out) .

But imo for yours it might be too much if you add the esky 3rd too

Yeah I am 50/50 on the esky third but we shall see when it comes back from paint.

Also cut up an HD grille that I had laying around to get color matched and then a billet grille.

Well ended up buying a Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor to hopefully fix the hard start. Seems to only have the issue when the ruck is driven then started through out the day. I guess from there if that doesn't fix it then I guess onto the MAF.

Also talking to someone who has a cheap rancho 4 inch lift for sale that I am interested in for the lift spindles so that way I can run them with 4wd hubs and lift spindles.

Give some people in here heart attacks with this pic lol. I have mine cut out for a project too. Is it necessary to cut for the billet grille ?

Well changed the ECT sensor and doesn't seem to have fix the hard start. Next is to try cleaning the MAF before I replace it. Started working on adding some led lights to the under carriage. Pics were from last weekend, I added some to the wheel wells today so all that's left is the front and rear and probably under the middle somewhere.

Lol I like the lights to show off the powder and eventually chrome.

But I used 15w eagle eye leds that I found on amazon.

2pcs-white-12v-15w-eagle-eye-led-drl-daytime.jpg

They are the screw with a nut style so under the doors there are 4 holes in the metal that folds under the body I mounted them there. Then the wheel wells I took the fender liners out and drilled holes into them and mounted three of them there. The front and rear I will probably end up using the three 9w pods like I did on my truck.

I am running the wires from the front driver wheel well down the driver side around the rear then up the passenger side to the front and probably some in the grille. Then going to put a switch in the upper cubby hole in the center console and run it directly to the battery.

All finished it should have 26-30 led pods under it.

Here is with the wheel wells. Got to order the pods for the front and rear. Also want to add more in the center so there's no shadow.

And a picture of mine with them as well. Mine has 26 I believe.

Spaceship mode engaged :headbang:

Yes sir!

Update I found another way to mount the screw style eagle eyes and that is with some angle metal to have them mounted on something flat and screwed into the side of where I want.

Also the switch should be coming in tomorrow so that will get installed too.

Well another update. Finished with the leds for now. Definitely want some in the grille and under the body to get rid of some of the shadows. Also when I was working on the wheel well lights I noticed that a bolt on each exhaust manifold have already broke off so that will be fin when I go to do the headers.

Looks good, like you said adding the grille and filling that shadow in the middle will really bring it together .
Make me want to do it and try your angle bar idea.

Nice work. I used angle brackets, one for each light cause I had to angle them left to right because I'm lower I wouldve just had spot lights on the ground instead of a even glow. But it's kinda cool I can loosen the bolts and rotate the lights if I wanted to. Never wanted to tho lol.

Appreciate it, I am happy with how it came out.

Nothing new to update. Looking into getting some ARP header studs to use when I do the header install so I don't have to worry about broken bolts again. Painter said he is spraying the parts this week so hopefully I will have the parts back.
