axle flip?

so my question is, if i want to do an axle flip on the cheap (dont have money for a kit right now) would i be able to just pull the axle out and put it on top? cus i k now there is that retaining/locating bolt in the leaf springs. would i be able to do that?

nope, you have to cut and remove, and weld in new perches. and removing the old ones is a *****, so you will be best to buy new ones. also shock hangers will need to be relocated, overall i dont think u wanna tackle it
