I don't know if this is the right place for this type of post so I apologize and I just feel I need to vent.

I feel really bad that this is my first post. I've been a lurker for a while and the search feature has always answered my questions. I'm also a member over at FSC.

I've been looking into upgrading my 2dr 4x4 Yukon as far as wheels/tires/suspension and decided to pull the trigger. Everything is ready to go except for one thing. I'm waiting on my lift.

Some of the items that are going on the Yukon

I decided to go with the RCX 3" lift and I shopped around for the best deals. Since Rough Country is an official vendor here I figured I'd see what deals they have. They did not offer any discounts so I looked at other avenues. I found it on Adrenaline for the same price, but shipping was $25 cheaper. Their website (adrenalinemotorsportsllc.com), looked pretty legit so I placed my order on Tues 9/10/2013 around 6:30PM. I paid right away and got a confirmation email thereafter.

Thursday rolls by and I haven't heard anything about the order, so I email the guy "When do you anticipate this to ship?" and an hour later I get a reply that says "It should ship today". Great no problems!

So on Monday (9/16) night I send an email asking if they got a tracking number... no reply. So by Tuesday afternoon I start calling, it'll ring and ring and then say "the voicemailbox is full". I called more and more on Wednesday (9/18) and no avail. So I decided to let my girlfriend try to call them. Low and behold they answer on the first ring. They apologized for the inconvenience "they've been having troubles with their phone". They told her that something was wrong with the part they were going to send to me or something along those lines and they would ship out a new one today (9/18) and I should be getting an email with a tracking #. Psssssh, The day passes by and I get nothing.

Today, 9/19 my girlfriend and I call at multiple points in time and they are still not answering the phone. Around 3:30PM I finally get an email saying the part shipped, however there was no tracking number listed. Their shipping policy says that they require a signature upon delivery, how am I supposed to know what day to be home for the UPS man so I can sign for it? I'm going to keep calling and asking for a tracking number.

Am I out of line here? Am I overly concerned? I have paid almost $700 for this and I prefer to not be scammed out of this (the payment has already cleared from my credit card).

What kind of business conducts themselves like this? If I gave them the benefit of a doubt that their phone's aren't working, then why aren't they replying to my emails? I mean hell, there's an advertisement on the right portion of their website boasting about having the best tech support available and being open 24/7 (Which happens to be the same number I'm calling).

The ad.

Apologies, sorry for the rant, but I figured I'd share for others who may be contemplating doing business with them.

Your post is fine , Good thing about forums is we share each others experience with one another to hopefully save the headache , it sounds like they finally got their life together . Keep us updated on this , Hopefully they make amends like refunding the shipping cost , I had a similar issue happen with a local business . My lift was delayed about 2 weeks after the frustration I told them I didnt want the business they told me that the payment already cleared my credit card and that I would pay a fee to cancel. (after promising Id have my lift within 2 days of my order) Luckily the credit card company was on my side and voided the payment . I ordered mine directly from super lift.

Make sure to post some pics of your truck when your done :D

It really makes no sense. Having good service is really the only thing (besides installs) that will help keep a store front open in this day and age b/c of the interwebs. Good luck hopefully they will come through for you.

I've already been in contact with my C/C company, the money has already processed through and I have to wait 30 days, and if I don't get the item I paid for I can file a dispute.

My Yukon isn't the prettiest thing, but I know these upgrades will make it look better.

What's wrong with Tifton? I know nothing of Georgia.

I still do not have a tracking number as of yet. The gf reached out to them on FB and sent this.

it's been almost two hours and I'm still seeing this on their website and have received no subsequent emails.

I feel your pain. If this was me I'd be pretty upset at this point and time! Keep us posted on how this turns out.

unknown at this time.
Sounds like a business run from home with no real stock on hand. Everything would be dropped shipped. The phone is supposedly a Verizon cell phone and not an actual land line. That with a gmail address instead of one based on their domain address, which just happens to be hosted on a server in Virgina, suggests the owner is trying to get something going but it is no where near an operation that would operate out of a warehouse with parts at this point. You should expect delays and difficulties when dealing with such a business. Hopefully it will get better for the owner but this is likely not his primary job.

Be that as it may, I would still like some communication. I am a very understanding guy. I would have no problem with them shooting me an email saying "hey, this item is on backorder it'll take a while" or "the item we got was broken, we're ordering a new one and it'll be to you within a few weeks" but no, I have to call from different numbers because it seems like they are screening calls from my area code, and emailing has been fruitless.

As I said, I finally got an email on Thursday saying it shipped, I'll give it a while. I'll keep you posted.

I know this thread is little old, but wondering how this turned out, I am currently going through the same issue with them, waiting on XDC leveling kit for suburban, its been a week and I haven't received any updates yet, I have tried to call 7-8 times and no one ever answers.

I was thinking of taking a road trip if i didnt here anything myself ha. They did give me a one line reply when i emailed them. Saying it will ship monday, seems little strange the lack of communication. I ordered parts from different site for my 79 pickup they called me same day to inform me parts would be back ordered asking if i still wanted to place my order. Adrenaline just took my money didnt tell me anything. Just hoping i get the parts.

Just wanted to update so others know, this has been a nightmare, adrenaline never answers the phone, (which is a cell phone) won't contact me to explain why nothing has shipped 2 weeks after my credit card was billed. The rare occasion i have recieved a reply, its a one line response, saying "shipping tommorow" or "shipping today, will send tracking info". But day after day goes by no shipping info, no response to email, no answer on phone. Sent email and phone message today to cancel the order, contacting credit card company for refund. Will update once i get all sorted out.

Adrenaline Motorsports

Just got off of the phone with Lenox PD (where this "company" is now apparently) Apparently it is managed by a guy named Gerry Peele. They told me they have received multiple calls about the place, and as far as they know, it doesn't actually exist.

It has been over 2 months since I ordered my lift, since I have made inquiries about getting my money back, they stopped even answering the phone. They have NEVER replied to an email, not from me, Paypal, or the BBB.

Just figured I'd throw an update in here. Sounds like I'm out quite a bit of money.
