Has anyone just replaced their front Magnaride struts with a AutoZone replacement? I did this and they were a exact match. My old struts had almost locked up and were giving a terrible ride. The new ones ride great but now my suspension light has come on twice. Just wondering if anyone else has had trouble with AutoZone struts?

It appears that Autozone is using Arnott struts for Magneride replacements, which I believe are rebuilt GM OEM struts. Arnott had a good reputation for years, but I have 'heard' that their reputation for product quality has taken a hit in recent years.

First check to ensure that the electrical connections on the tops of the struts are clean and tight, as any motion that would temporarily open that circuit would trigger a trouble code and dash light.

If the electrical connections are clean and tight, then you will need a quality bi-directional scanner to dig deeper to determine the source of the trouble code.

I would double check your work and be sure the harness connector on the top of the strut is properly attached, if it is loose or not connected properly it can loose connection while driving and throw a code, then clear it's self when it has a connection again.
this would explain a intermittent suspension error
