Audio Help/Ideas

I have a 2007 Yukon XL. I also have 6 kids, so I fill up pretty much every seat in the truck. As we all know, our trucks need some bass help. I always have bookbags and strollers and what-not in the back, so I don't want to give up the extra room throwing a box back there would take up. I also don't really like the stealth boxes. I have never actually heard one, so it's just a personal opinion with no facts to back it up. I was thinking something like this though:

I don't have the rear assist, so there won't be a motor there. I have 2 of these:

Do you think that with the extra space that is taken up by the motor in the Escalade set-up, that I could mount both of these subs in that space? Or should I scrap the 12's and put a 15 there? Not looking for competetion sounds or anything, just nice bass.

Your first link doesn't work. I've personally never heard any of the shallow mount subs but I'm assuming with the proper set up and box (you'd need some sot of enclosure) you'd get some bass out of a twelve inch sub.

shallow will work, but can you loose 12"x12"x12"?

With the floor, I would be able to pack and stack in the back without worrying about a big bulky box. Plus I wouldn't have to remove the box for luggage and be able to keep my audio system intact when we go on long trips (8 hour trips to Cali frequently).

I've never seen how much room is behind the last row in an XL though, if it is the same as the non-XL that link can give you some ideas to build off of or mock.
