Ok so the 55W kit would run $165 then? How much brighter is the 55W versus the 35W?

---------- Post added at 03:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:33 PM ----------

I currently run the 55W from DDM on my Yukon and a 35W kit on the car I drive to work also from DDM. I am not happy with the 35W kit I have on the work car but it also has the older style non clear lenses (kind of a honey comb design on lenses). I am not sure if it is because the Yukon lights are superior by design anyways or if it is because of the lower wattages. Also the Yukon windshield is tinted 40% the work car is 35%. Lots of variations but so far prefer the 55W lights.

Just to clear up confusion I am trying to order a set of HID's for my cousins Yukon but if I like your kits I may end up ordering some different lighting for my Yukon including the fog light hids.

Most like the intensity of the 55w; to me and most customers the 55w is mainly for performance, because of the intensity you will tone down the color of whatever rating you purchase also so if you want a blueish white you need to go with the 12k if your putting 55w.

Also with 55w you tend to run the risk of damaging housings or even wiring, so we do not recommend the 55w unless that's what the customer wants, but that type of damage is rare depending on the application.

In all honesty our 35w HID kits put most 35w and some 55w's to shame because of the quality of the burner so 55w is not a requirement, but it's all your choice as a customer.

Headlights in comparison will always vary, but also it depends on when you purchased those DDM HID kits, some of there items did change at one point this year to something that was not superior, but yes those lenses with the Lines in them tend to not control the HID lighting as well, so it causes light placement issues.

Just let us know, either way within the next couple of days all website in's and out's are being handled, but best thing to do is call your order in to us at 619-427-7116 and we can help you place your order if it has anything to do with ordering 55w HID kits.

Will do sir I need to talk to my cousin or really his wife I guess and make sure they want to spend the doe. I will probably try out the 35W. I think I got the DDMs during this winter sometime.

One more question while I am thinking of it... With my DDM's on I cannot get very good radio reception which I heard is because the ballasts are interfering. Do yours have a problem with this? I think I read that you use digital ballasts but have no idea if that makes a difference or not.

Our ballasts might still cause interruption, but we have the radio interference cancellers which during in-shop installations have worked out very well.

Those might help.
