App radio experience? Bring it on in.

I am looking into getting a new double din TV and would like to get an app radio as I like cool shit. I require that it is a 7" screen with any CD/DVD slots behind the screen as I am not a fan of that other style. I use Andriod phones and would really like some feedback on the actual compatibility with Andriod OS.

I have looked into running a carputer but have not fully talked myself into this but you may include info on those as it has been years since I researched them. Specific carputer question, can one run an external HD plugged in via USB specifically the laptop HD style which uses a dual USB plug in?

You now know the prerequisites of posting in this thread so please school me on these starting... right meow.

There's not much app radio support at all for android it's like 1/4 of what apple gets

With that being said thank god I have an iphone now

the app radio is kinda silly to me...a friend of mine has it and it really seems stupid. you run everything off your phone. if it were me, i'd spend the extra few $$$ and get the z140. that dd is the ish! it does everything that the app radio does plus BT and nav. just my .02
