Flipping the script. Looking at Moog upper & lower control arms at rear.

Figure the original bushings are done by now (137k miles) and I won't be supercharging or anything. All good.
I think you should go with Spohn boxed lowers so I can see if they're worth it lol.

Are these and the panhard bar a must have for the 2/4 drop?
If you're doing a 4" drop in the rear you'll probably want the adjustable control arms. I'm dropped 3" but I think because mines a Denali the body moldings around the wheels for some reason helps the wheels look more centered front to back. At a 3" drop they're close to center. But at a 4" drop, especially on a non- Denali, they will probably look like they're pulled way forward. And to the right, so yes I'd recommend the adjustable panhard bar too. I'm going supercharged so I'm looking to stiffen things up, that's why I'm looking at the boxed lower control arms.

What do you mean by Boxed?
The ones I've seen are made of tubing.
Here's a little review, towards the end of the video, its only 2+ minutes long.

What are you using if those keep breaking on you? Thanks!

67RS427,

I need to go edit that post, its a bit misleading. That is not my Tahoe, wish it was though, hah.

Oh g-d Tony, I'm sorry. That was not my ride (I wish it was, 700hp sounds good to me, haha).
It just so happen to have info on the arms ubervic was inquiring about.

I believe he had custom arms made, he says it in the video.

Ok, Thanks! I was just curious as I'm picking up my new/used 2007 Blue Metallic 2007 Yukon Denali 6.2L tomorrow :) It's got 149k miles on it and I'm not gonna waste any time. First thing is going through the suspension and dropping it a little then the motor/transmission. I don't think I'll be pushing 700hp as this is my DD for my kids and I have a twin turbo 67 Camaro I'm building right now for the street (1,200 - 1,500hp)... I easily see 600hp in my immediate future though so I'm really curious what he ended up doing as I just contacted Tony about his complete lowering/cornering package.

Nice man, congrats on the new to you ride. Blue metallic ooohhh purdy, I love that color.
You can see 600 but not 700HP hahaha, too funny.

That Camaro is INSAAAAANNE, love car ****. Ehh you know it only has about 1500hp ;) Nice.

Ohh and hey welcome aboard man, this is a great site with a bunch cool cats and some serious info.

They make the adjustable round ones and the boxed non-adjustable ones. Here's the description for the boxed ones:

"Our boxed rear lower control arms outperform the flexible, stamped-steel arms and soft rubber bushings that come from the factory. Eliminate wheel hop, get more stable towing performance and increase traction with an easy bolt on installation. All ends are fitted with grease fittings for easy lubrication of the fluted polyurethane bushings. Available powder coated in your choice of the above colors for a brilliant and durable finish.

Our boxed rear lower control arms are constructed from 2.0" x 1.5" x .120" wall rectangular tubing, and are 100% TIG welded for the ultimate in strength and appearance."

I'm interested in wheel hop and traction since I'm installing a blower. I want to hook up and I don't need to adjust them. I just reinstalled my 26" wheels after winter and rechecked the front-to-back. They're only off by 1/8"- 1/4". At the most I could move them forward 1/8" to be perfectly centered. Not worth it.

I just ordered the Spohn boxed lowers. I'll post the results.

I am thinking of doing the boxed lowers as well on my 2014 Denali.
And the Panhard bar too..
Can you follow up with your experience on the boxed lowers
from Spohn ????

I’ve had them on for about a year. They’re a good solid quality product. I haven’t noticed any wheel hop. I ended up with a Whipple, cam, stall, headers, etc. Very happy with the control arms. Sorry, I thought I came back and updated this thread.

Those caliper covers will hold heat in and not let your brakes cool off.
