I am new here so sorry if this has been brought up before, i have an 08 Denail with the auto steps, which i really really wanted and hunted for, now i have it and i regret it for one sole reason. I got some 26's on a 295/30's and i barely rub in the inner fender, but with the wheel cranked and on a slight the incline, it actually rubs the sidewall :emotions122: (which obviously is tucked under), its not even close to the exterior of the step its the furthest back front corner, i have trimmed and looks like it clears but my driveway and sons daycare have decent hills and still can rub any help. thx

I've posted about the problems with auto steps and 26"s in the past. My buddy has 26"s on his Esky and has this problem.

well, u just saved me from dropping coin on a set of 26" wheels... We'll keep the 24s, lol.

We had slight slight rub at full lock with 305/35, but with the 295/35 we have zero.

i would like to only drop the rear, i am just concerned about the ride after. im definitely blacking out the 3rd brake light and tails, and either going strut grill and keeping all chrome or blacking out most chrome including factory grille. Im also pondering on the idea of exhaust love the sound and look, but i used to have an 04 and when i put it on it killed the gas mileage and this thing all ready gets piss poor so we will see about that.

Looks great bro! I love black on black and denali's. I think you should get rid of all the chrome now that you have black rims... or just leave a FEW chrome accents... check out PACE and his black denali... oh btw Lemme know if you still have those stock denali running boards (non powered), i'm on the hunt for some!

Bumping this up. On the fence about 26s. We have autosteps. Don't really want the rubbing. Anyone found a way to avoid this?
