Anyone have a HD hood on a denali?

Hey copper, did you paint your vehicles? In you sig they look copper and in the pics you posted they are a wicked reddish-orange color. I have never seen a pic of your rig other than your sig photo and I really like it. The overall look is really nice, the HD hood on the Denali is so bad ass. The copper doesn't really do it for me but the reddish-orange joint is off the hook, WOW!

No sir, the Silverado changed to the newer Body style by 04. you want a 01-02 2500HD hood

Actually, just to clarify......

00-06 Tahoes take the 00-02 Silverado HD Hoods (direct bolt on)

Silverados body style changed in 03 (but not sure about the 2500s, chevy used to have a thing with changing the 3/4 tons the next year or year after that).

I think we should get a "HD Hood Thread" stickied in the exterior section with all the information and pictures for people to reference. It seems like a new thread pops up about them a couple times a week. Anyone else agree?

Edit* - I am willing to put it together with all the information I can find, however I don't have first hand experience with them so input from those who have installed them would definitely help!

ZANG! Wow, that's a trip. Well, they are both dope but that Denali HD hood is out of control and that reddish-orange color is sick. The copper is executed real clean just being from AZ copper on cars gets me since back in the day a lot of the car makers would make crazy AZ colored cars like copper or sedona red........ your ride is wicked I just have an aversion to that color. My grandma also had a champaignish-coppery Mary K car when I was a kid and when I see those types of colors it reminds me of that.

It's cool, to each his own...Depending on the time of day my copper photographs brighter, more orange, then what it looks like in person. It is the same copper color from the 08 Ford Harley Trucks. Here is a web shot of my bike that I think shows the color a bit better.

Well fellas I guess ima be puttin in a HD hood sooner than I thought, I found one locally for 100 bucks in excellent condition. It came off an 02 chevy HD, guy put in a scoop hood or something, but it tan so I'm gonna try to carefully trim it myself and send it to paint. Ill chime in your write up if it goes up

AAHHHHHH I need a new hood and I think I want the same hood that Copper has with the dual ram. I have thought hard about the HD hood and the dual-ram and I'm still kinda torn... I am going for a more sporty and aggressive kinda look though so I think the scoops might be better. Argh so tough.
