only story i have was when i was driving around my friends ranch. was with my gf looking for a nice.. spot.. and my friends were chasing me on a polaris. trying to get away from them went over a bigger hill than expected. definitely got off the ground but landed pretty smoothly.
other than that if your jumping a tahoe on purpose, enjoy a nice broken truck.
TBH Unless your running some awesome 4 link or Scissor suspension system with 12+ inches of suspension travel along with some Hydralic bump stops you can forget jumping anything . A lot of people really don't know how expensive a Baja truck is , which is built for that kind of stuff . It takes more than just some custom shocks and a lift kit most of those vehicles are all Fiber glass to reduce the shock of the impact , Caged , and run special custom suspension systems that start at around 3500 dollars Just for starters . but If I were to build one today I would start with these things
Hydro bump stops
Long travel suspension system
Weight reduction of pretty much everything not required to keep it running
Frame reinforcement ladders
Cage
Give me a helmet and Ill try it

That's street queen for Ya. Coilovers were mounted just meh. Should have been reinforced but they never had jumping it in their mind in the first place I'm guessing...
