i guess another reason i went with aftermarket fans and since i found em dirt cheap, was to get out of the stock look, if i want someone to know i blew money in the fans, im gunna show em just that, and advertsie a little bit for flexalite since its a damn good company

I've been looking for the Mark VIII fan at junkyards for a while but no luck.

The ones on ebay and car-parts are around $150. I found one last night for $70 plus $24 for shipping, hoping it is local so I can just pick it up.

There is a guy on Ebay who only sells Taurus fans .

Lots of 5.0 mustang guys run these fans, they are around 3200CFM i believe.

I bought my 06 silverado Efans for 100$ from my local salvage yard.

They fit right in with minor trimming and are designed for a chevy V8 truck that tows. nuff said.

FWIW I have a taurus fan cooling my 5.0 mustang and it works very well. I think the factor here would be making it fit in the stock gm shroud or fabbing a new shroud, but it pushes more than enough air to cool a 350.

jus get the kit for our trucks. its way worth it in the long run. everything bolts up and you only have to drill two holes for the bottom supports and it comes with everything you need..and you can adjust fan speed.

I used a similar one to do fans on an old '90 s-10 that I was fixing up and it worked great... I plan on picking up a similar one once I get the fans....

But how will this one work if I want to use the dual speed Linciln Fan or will I have to do what onebadsuv did... Which I still don't quite understand. I'm new to all the relay stuff.

Anyone? Check it out, I got one today for like $60, I need a walkthrough on how to do it again. Which way to knock the old fan clutch off, in depth about the wiring and everything. HEEEEELLLLLP Please:Handshake:

How to wire this beast up. I have a single speed mark viii fan, but I'm new to wiring up relays and stuff. Someone said simply use a 30A relay but I've done some research and I think this thing will blow it.
