While waiting on my Fat Bobs Garage 3" key lift to arrive I started looking a shocks. Everyone seems to be stuck on the $300+ set of Bilstines, I know they are a great shock but has anyone tried anything else? I'm not gonna go buy some $15 Autozone shocks but our shop deals with Orileys and i can get ranchos for $50 each. Just looking for different options and opinions. Back in the 80's while in highschool $35 could buy you the best shock made. How times have changed.

Bruce is right about cranking to 3". You will be forcing your UCA to ride on top of your bump stop so your ride will suck. But if your looking for another shock for around 30-35 bucks go with pro comp 9000's. I've got them and their a great shock and ride really good.

+1 The Procomps are a great shock and they are made in the same factory as Rancho. 4wheel Parts usually has a great deal on them :Handshake:
