after 2002 all electrical was different, you arent able to swap ANYTHING out

2000-2006 Exterior, pretty much the same. Interior, mainly electrical, like stated above, different after 2002. 2003-2004 similar.

I meant for options, features, etc. Looking at a couple vehicles right now, one is an 02, one an 04...any of which will be an upgrade from my 86

They are all pretty similar. I'd base it on mileage, vehicle history, general condition....basically get the best deal. Newer is generally better, but it can vary a lot depending on what the vehicle's history is. Basically, just figure out which one is in better condition and most likely to keep you on the road for the longest time. Denali's are kind of top of the line and have most options standard.

The 03-06s have a MUCH better interior, especially the seats. The electronics are much better as well. Overall a much better truck after 03.

Seems a touch high, but not much, if it's a Denali. Offer 9, hit somewhere in between and it's probably fair. Get it looked over by a shop first, though.

I paid 11,500 for an '03 3 years ago in exceptional shape with about the same mileage, and that was pretty low then.

last year i paid 9800 out the door for my 03 SLT every option minus rear entertainment. it had 104k on it. now it had a few minor issue but nothing major. both of the rear quarter panels are dented in and they show as accidents on the car fax so i really chewed them down on that. mechanically the truck was and still is perfect which is why i bought it
