Another new guy with a 2002 Tahoe

Hey everybody.

I came across the forum here when looking up things for the Tahoe I picked up. I've been driving GM vehicles for about 20 years so I'm pretty familier to them. I started with a Chevy Beretta and my last truck was a 2007 Sierra classic diesel. I picked up the Tahoe just as an extra vehicle to have around. I look forward to picking your brains if I have Tahoe questions.

2007 Classic. Owned for about 7 years. Sold it with 63000 miles on it. Loved the truck just decided to sell it before the value dropped on it. Let's just say i didn't lose any money on it.

Welcome Patrick. It just got broken in. With proper maintenance, they run a long time. Even without proper maintenance they can run a long time. Good score.

Not going to dump a ton of money into it. I've tinted the windows and picked up a set of wheels, just waiting for the new tires to get mounted. I'm going to throw a single din in it that has a little lcd screen on it so that I can add a back up camera and have bluetooth for my phone. I also have picked up some manifold clamps to "repair" the manifolds that have broken studs. I might add some weathertech molded liners at some point throughout. That's probably about all for now.

Welcome I'm new also just bought a 2003 (thought it was 2004) Tahoe just put my new wheels on it also.
What is a single Din? I am assuming new radio unit with Bluetooth but what brand is good I will be shopping for an upgrade myself and would like to know more.

The wheels you have were my other option.

A single din radio. It's just referring to its size. Many will upgrade and install a double din, but it requires a fair bit of modification. I didn't want to mess with it right now so I bought a single din JVC. The reason I chose it was because it had a little LCD screen which I can hook a backup camera into. So without to much work I can have some modern features such as the backup camera and also Bluetooth for my phone.
