My bad on the price of the fog lights in my thread, as my actual cost at the time was $60 (I just corrected that thread). It looks like the price of this specific fog light is now $69.
From that corrected thread for the fog lights: For the fog lights, which were the 5202 incandescent spec, I used the following: JDM Astar LED Number 2G 5202 5201 Fog Light CSP (white is the only available color) ($60 per set of 2) (Note that I had to slightly cut down a protrusion on the plastic bumper housing behind the fog light lens assembly with a hacksaw blade to fit the LED into place, but the modification is completely invisible and took about 2 minutes each to accomplish.)
Regarding the hyperflash from using LEDs, I did not use any resistors, and simply kept the hyperflash. There was no simple place to mount the resistors, where they would contact only metal and not plastic, and I did not want a hot resistor contacting any plastic on the truck.
I understand that hyperflash may be illegal in some states, but it is not in mine. And, no harm will come to the LEDs or the truck from hyperflash. Last, I believe that other drivers will see a hyperflash directional signal more readily, than a regular cadence flash directional signal (just my opinion).
BTW, the front directional signal JDM Astar LED that I used is a switchback LED, and the white running light, when not using the directional signal (yellow light), is very bright, and further improves forward visibility.
I trust that this is helpful to you.
