So...here goes. I currently own a 2015i Yukon Denali (White Diamond Tricoat) and have two (onyx black) on order. Here's the plan (additional thoughts welcome).

All references to Denali will be removed and replaced with Kodiak. Electrical system modified to allow two batteries isolating with diodes in a primary buss/essential buss configuration. An auxiliary (small) heater installed (Janitrol) ... not designed to keep the cabin toasty warm but to prevent hypothermia and inside cabin freezing. 2nd row bench seats so entire back can lay down flat. Built-in air pump for inflatables and tires. Air suspension added. Engineering the front/rear dams to be retracted to allow better approach/departure angles. Potable water storage added. No sunroof. Roof with solar cells. Modification of transmission/transfer case shift patterns based upon type of terrain. Assist steps modified to act as sliders. Skid plates. Looking at ways to engineer the exhaust to be higher to allow deeper water crossings. Camera system changed to provide 360 "overhead" view. More to come as ideas are placed on table and engineering feasibility is considered. Internal phone modified such that 'no signal' from cell system will switch automagically to satellite. If OnStar contact is lost and emergency services are triggered, a 408MHz/121.5 EPRIB will be activated upon failure to contact OnStar. Wheels and fenders slight mods to support off-road tires. Compartment behind 8" display enlarged to hold 1911 or smaller.

Serious. Overland Journal pimped up a LR4 and took it cross country to beat up on less expensive "stuff". They did OK. The Kodiak would be designed to stomp on the OJ, produce a vehicle for very serious off road/remote use and give the Abbey Road Rover lads something to worry about.

Blackout ... if you wanna buy two, that's fine with us; but, I'd suggest you wait until the project rides are completed, tested, and allowed on the road. Who knows...this could be a cluster.

No no. I was saying why don't you just buy something more built for expeditions and deep snow? Why use a luxury SUV that's not intended for such things? Like the actual chevy Kodiaks or whatever the hell they're called.

I could buy something built for deep snow ... like a snow cat ... or a safari wagon. But then again, it wouldn't be a bespoke alternative to a Range Rover would it. Don't expect a bunch of build action here for awhile. The orders still have to finish going through the goose, get built, and then get delivered.

Yup. I have an EE who has designed similar systems for aircraft working the problem.
