OK...so we have had the Android Auto upgrade on our 2016 Yukon for a month now. About 3 weeks ago I had the mis fortune of dropping my Samsung S4 in the sink and fried 90% of the screen. My replacement is a LG G$. My wife upgraded to a Samsung S6 at the same time.
Both phones sync blue tooth but my G4 when tethered does not have the GPS accuracy of her S6...in fact, my G4 will at times "Freeze Up" requiring me to hit the reset button on the Google Maps screen to catch up with current location. My wife's S6 doesn't ever have this problem.
Unfortunately my 2 week "trial" window passed before I learned of this and I can't return the phone and swap it for another.
All settings on my G4 have been optimized for GPS reception.
All thoughts and suggestions welcomed.
