Sometime in a week, maybe 2 at the most, Im getting an amp rack made, my amp for highs, my pair of JL C2 door speakers installed, and 0 awg kit installed.
I know some of this is nothing new to you guys but right now my JL 1000/1 is just chillin behind my backseat and Ive just got random crap keeping it wedged in place to keep from sliding around and Im pretty excited to finally get it all mounted down and out of the way (its getting mounted under the backseats alnog with a Kicker KX 100.2 <---(I knoow its not a good amp but I bought it for really cheap and Im getting a 4 channel amp eventually. This is just to get me started)

I'll post up pics before and after installation just to give you guys something to look at. cuz pics are awesome.

Cool. What amp are oyu going with for the highs? Are you only running one set of the C2 door speakers? What brand of 1/0 are you gonna run? Are you gonna run a dist block to reduce the amp wire to 4 guage ( I think that the max size you can run on 1000/1 is a 4 guage)

The Kicker KX 100.2 (in first post) its an old amp and not very good supposedly but I got it cheap. Only one set of C2's up front and all this is just to get me started. Ill get rear speakers and a better amp (prolly a JL 4 channel) eventually. The 1/0 wire is a big Memphis 1/0 wiring kit with distributor blocks and a 250 amp fuse and fuse holder and some other stuff.
and yes 4 gauge is the biggest you can go for a JL 1000/1 but they said they would make it work.

Im starting to upload pics to my comp now so its just all the stuff getting installed and some pics of the current setup.

yes thats a crack in the W7 and thats JB weld to seal it up and it doesnt sound any different luckily

The day has finally come. I just got back from the car audio store with my new stuff installed but Ill shut up now cuz I know all you guys want is the pics

I had them run the 4 channel RCAs that came with the wiring kit cuz Im puttin a 4 channel amp in eventually.

the back is all cleaned up now.
