I put 35w H11's in my reverse lights, They look great and have worked without a problem. The only thing is that I feel like they are aimed too high, prob because of the leveling kit and it being a 2500, but its still annoying. Anybody run into this? or have any ideas how to redirect the light without spacing out the whole tail light assembly?

how is it annoying? idk doesnt seem like something that would annoy me too much, but just curious. And since you leveled it i would think that it would be lower than higher, since you raised the front, thus making the back even and not sticking in the air. anyway to the question, i dont think you can adjust the tail lights as they are fixed and dont have any adjusters. Too high, too low, whats the difference, you just need it to back up, and with HIDs i would think thats plenty of light!

Bulb orientation in the housing may be a factor in this. I just mounted mine with the wire above the bulb like the below pic... and never thought about them aiming too high or low. I had to rotate my front HID bulbs in the headlight housing to get the best aim and doing so with the rear may have had the same effect...

^^^^^^Thanks, I'll see where they are. So the light sends to aim in the direction of the wire?

UofM: Its annoying because the light pattern goes out like headlights and not on the ground where they are needed.....where the factory bulbs covered. The leveling kit raised the front 2" and the rear 1". So the vehicle is level, but sits higher than stock, not that an inch would make that much of a difference. They def are brighter than stock, but if they were adjusted down they would be much more useful with tinted windows. Maybe its not possible, just throwin it out there.

I am not sure which direction the light is sent, but did see a difference in pattern and aim when rotating my headlight bulbs... so rotating the rear bulbs would likely have had the same effect.
