Does anyone know which 2007 thru 2014 Silverados have AFM? Is a 4x4 and has 5.3 engine at this time. Thanks.

Easiest way to avoid AFM is to get anything that's not a half-ton.
8600 GVWR vehicles were exempt from CAFE, so GM never bothered putting AFM in them.

the 4.8 never had AFM if i remember correctly

this tracks. I was gonna mention my 2012 1500 with 4.8 didn’t have AFM.

... 'cause a 2.4L V4 is just too small. In fact the Gen5 V8 did not even bother with a 4.8L at all.

How can you or can you tell if your pretty sure the engine was replaced.? I bought a 2007 Yukon at auction and it appeared that the engine was replaced?Not by vehicle, but by engine code (8th VIN character):

With a 19 year old truck, anything is possible at this point.
@OR VietVet Ron, it's easier to determine which do not, all of the 4.8 and 6.2 Silverados do not have AFM. Nearly all of the 5.3s have it as does the 6.0 (L76) used from 2007-2009.
@JustPlaneMike it'll likely retain the same VIN if it was just rebuilt, and not replaced.
