I don't believe they make a 9005 3000K HID bulb. You can only get that color temperature for bulbs that are designed for fog light applications.

Definatly you can. Its just a color, its not a design. Although I would not want them in my highbeams or low beams. Just in my fogs as thats where their most useful.

Yeah I know that.

Buot I haven't seen anyone offer them, I haven't really looked either. Doubt there is a market for people who would want yellow high beams or lows. And as you pointed out they are most useful in your fogs, reason why you can readily find that temp in fog application bulbs.

any site i have been to for HIDs will let you select 9005 and 3000k.

The hid bulb is the same, it just is what base it is secured to. a 9005 or 9006, etc are generally the same bulb, just attached to a different base.
