Added some exit lighting

Truck didn't come with the puddle lights so I made my own. Uses some DRL led lights and wired them to the reverse lights so they come on when you unlock the truck.

Lol. If wired to the reverse lights, then yes. Not sure I'd like them coming on every time I back up.

It'll look like the DeLorean getting ready to hover when you throw it in reverse! I think thats more geared toward rock lights. The puddle lamp gives light right to where you'll be stepping out. It looks like the light cuts off at the rocker panel.

Looks good otherwise though.

I too didn't like the lack of exit lighting so I installed ghostlights.

What LEDs you use?

SUPERNIGHT (TM) 5M Waterproof 5050 SMD 300 Epoxy LED Strip Light White

If you want multi color with out a pos controller to burn out.
Use this 4 position rotary knob and these LED strips.
This will get you red, blue, green, and with 3 diodes, white.

If you want "RF" not infared control over RGB color mix, use this RF RGB Controller

Im currently working on a RF controlled RGB cluster, window, lock, dash and under body kit, but dont know how far I want to take it.

Goofing around with two strips, one RGB strip set to blue and a seperate white strip running side by side..
These are VERY bright at night. almost too bright. again, was just goofing around, they was taped up into the body with clear packing tape for funs.

no, but they can be, alot of ppl get the light houisings from front doors and run the power wires in.

It's solid red in everything except the Escalade. Here's more info with pics and part numbers to swap them out
