Hi all!

I have a question, i just picked up new 2022 z71 Tahoe.
And im not sure, do i have adaptive cruise control.

I do have regular cruise settings on a steering wheel (+/-/on/off), and also i do have GAP button (which is working and showing car in a front of me, and seconds to it)
BUT, im not sure do i have adaptive cruise control in the car and how to turn it on
how can i check this?

btw i don't have parking sensors due to chip shortage

You do not. A terrible shame, I’m frustrated by the same thing. I love the Z71 platform, but no adaptive until premiere or high country.

Honestly I don’t exactly know. GM has had that feature a long time. I guess it indicates a vehicle in front of you, such as fog or low visibility situations.

It does have the emergency stop braking which I like.

Also you don’t have AC Seats if you are wondering…

I’m hopeful the 2024 model will have updates features to the Z71.

Gap adjust only adjusts the sensitivity of the emergency braking.

FYI, you can get Adaptive Cruise starting on the RST/SLT model by adding the "Luxury Package" in 2023. They added that feature this year (and bumped up the price $500 on the package).

According to the order guide it is available on the RST but not Z71...Also not available on LT model. Seems strange.

I got a 2022 Suburban High Country. It does not have adaptive cruise control. Wondering if anyone knows how possible it is to add it. The vehicle should have the software capability for it, just not sure if the wires are preexisting or not

the Z71 is basically a LT2, you might be able to add some features manually with aftermarket harnesses when they become available
check with the harness dr.
