Just replaced my air compressor plugged everything back in in my 2005 Tahoe 5.3 clutch will not engaged recharged the system etc etc just can’t understand why it will not engage any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello all. I bought an 05 Yukon SLT 5.3. Trying to get the ac working. New compressor. Trying to charg,however after jumping the low side switch, the compressor does not come on. Yes, everything is on high in the truck. The relay has power on pin 30. But the relay is not clicking. U swapped it...

Did you also install a new accumulator and orifice? Did you flush the system out while apart?

None of these concerns should prevent the compressor from operating. The performance would be for s**t, but the clutch should still engage.
