I have a very interesting problem with ny 2017 tahoe.
The ac doesnt blow cold air at the back but does blow could at the front. First i checked the blend doors works well. The rear coil didnt get cold at all. Replaced rear expansion valve because i tought that is the problem but didnt chang, one of my mechanic friends said it could be a weak compressor couldnt pump enough gas to have enough for the rear coil. I took it apart replaced the compressor wirh OM part. Checked the rear pipes and coil for any clogged or pinched pipes but everything looks good. Pit back together vacuumed them tested for leaks refilled with a good amount of gas and still does the same thing. What else could be. The only part is what i can think of is the front expansion valve. This is the only thing what was not replaced? It could be the issue? The front ac blowing cold enough to cool down my black car in Florida right now, but not freezing cold. Is it possible that the expansion valve is broken and let go through too much gas and thats why it is just cold enough not freezing cold and there is not enough gas for the back evaporator? I am getting tired of this AC issue.
