I have been able to compare my Kon to another, all original, Suburban. The Burb has much better air flow than my Kon. But my evap and drain is as clean as it can be and the blower is new. I can hear its working well but the flow doesnt match the sound; if that makes any sence. Ideas?

I've noticed that my '99 is noticeably stronger when I'm not set to max A/C and the recirculate button is deactivated. I need to poke around to see if there is an inlet somewhere under the dash that is plugged. Does yours act this way?

I dont believe so. If I remember correctly everything stepped up as it should. Low to hi, increases; recirc, increases. Just not as much pressure. I hope I explained that in a way others can understand :idiot:

But I have compared to another OBS, one of whoch I would be extreamely satisfied with.

When you bought the blower was the fan new as well and were they the same angles? Cage fan blade wise?

All new, and at quick glance, they looked the same.

My 96 does the same thing. Sounds like it's blowing down the walls but not that much air coming out. I've noticed i get a little air coming from the dash and floor vents, so I'm wondering if the blend doors are acting up. Also i've noticed that my center dash vent doesn't turn quite enough to hit dead on the driver ( stupid design )

Sometimes the seals between the ducting parts can leak over time. The motor and linkages for the output mode door assembly is visible along side the top of the accelerator panel. The blend door is really a temperature selection door.

Not sure what you mean by motor and linkages or accel panel

#'s 11, 27-29 in the pic below put your head on the drivers floor board. Look at the "gas" pedal and the look higher up.

Thank you good sir. Im not around the truck right now, but I can picture the area and Im almost certain I have felt a breeze. So a pressure loss thin then?
