a/c compressor stays running

I have a 2002 LT tahoe, my a/c compressor is running all the time, new relay (old one was missing),does any body know if the body control module has any thing to do with this problem. I replaced the heater control unit and still have the same problem. some thing is telling relay to turn on, some times it does go off like last night and now on the way to work today its running again. I have heard that these heater control units are a pain.

Check the relay, make sure its not welded closed. Just because its new, does not mean its good.

Try pulling the fuse for 10 minutes to the AC, sometimes it will reset the control unit. If that doesn't work, consider replacing the AC controls in the dash.
