Simple to custom make a turbo application. But the super charger you would have to look around. There 2 companies making them.

Both great power adders.

Mainly depends how fast you want to spin that 383, how well its built, bottom end, valvetrain and is it studded. determines that.

if its basic 383 a blower will keep it together considering it wont spin to fast.
BUT, a properly sized turbo or small twins will instantly spool and make mad power up to 6k or beyond, which a basic 383 shouldn't ever really see. so you will have max boost from 2k (or lower) thru 6k and it will be absolute insanity!
Like boiling tires from a 70 roll, would be as simple as just mash it!
Just keep boost to a modest 8psi.

Both blower and turbo's will give ya the chub poppin noise your looking for.

Me? I would twin turbo it and walk around like my sheet don't stink!

Lol.. The motor is built strong. Eagle forged internals. All ARP bolts and studs.. Fully rebuilt stock vortec heads with full rollers..
Not trying to be cheap but trying to build something at a decent price..
Possibly looking to have some porting and polishing done on the heads..
Motor is putting down 411hp and 590tq on the dyno.

Anyone know of any sites to look at or who to call to get some price ideas?

Awesome!
Boost it and make use of those forged internals.
Save the money on the porting. Forced induction dont care if its ported or not.
Given its studded up. Cram 8-10 psi in it and see close to 700 or more.
