95-99 Tahoe with seats from earlier models>

I have 99 Tahoe (2 door) with front bucket seats.
I would like to install a bench seat instead. I know I can go for 60/40 split bench from any 95-99 Tahoe or pickup truck,
BUT - are bench seats from earlier models (before 1995) compatible with 95-99 Tahoe? I like these earlier seats better.

I would think so. The mounts should be the same, GM is pretty consistent with those sort of things. It's no different than a guy putting in Newer seats in an older truck.
