It’s the best way. Regular plug socket with a 3/4” EXTENSION on the end, which Im pretty sure @Hi-psi meant:

No, actually what I meant is what I said. A regular spark plug socket, with a short well 3/4" socket on the end. Adds just enough overall length to put your ratchet point just past the manifold.

Yep I figured that out. Thanks for that tip, I had heard of the stubby extension but not that trick.

i replaced mine with acdelco irridiums 41162 and wires. amazingly, i havent seen any diff in gas mileage or performance. still never over 16mpg!

Did all my plugs today, for the first time, in about 2 hours. I used the 3/4" extension that was recommended -- still wasn't easy, but not terrible.

Probably the easiest chassis with an LS engine to change plugs on. I just used a short extension on a spark plug socket.....
