6 way power seat side lumbar supports not moving while button and motor on

My 6 way seat isn't fully working the side to side lumbar pillars no longer move in and out. When the 4 way dial is pressed, the motor whines, but no movement is happening. The forward and backwards lumbars work fine. I'm assuming there must be some broken gears or a cable that is broken. Any ideas on how to get it fixed again?

Most of the time seat repairs are pretty easy but you need to remove it. Be sure to disconntthe battery first. The seat separates into 2 parts. The hardest part is getting the cover back on but it’s not too bad. If you’re not comfortable doing that take it to an uphulstry shop vs dealer
